Some of summer’s most memorable moments aren’t found on a packed patio, they’re tucked beneath a canopy of trees and vines, where time slows down and every detail feels intentional. Inspired by the effortless elegance of the French countryside, we set out to create the perfect garden picnic in collaboration with French Bloom and Le Beau Marché. Thankfully, my mother’s backyard garden in Westmount, proved the perfect backdrop!

At the heart of the experience was a bespoke charcuterie board, thoughtfully curated by Le Beau Marché to pair beautifully with French Bloom Le Rosé, the award-winning 0.0% alcohol sparkling wine from France. The board featured an elegant selection of artisan cheeses, premium charcuterie, fresh seasonal fruit, cornichons, grapes, and crusty French bread—each element chosen to complement the wine’s delicate notes of rose petals, white peach, and red berries.
It was a rainy day, but the sun came through for us for about 20 minutes where we were able to shoot in magical afternoon July light!
The pairing proved that a sophisticated picnic doesn’t require alcohol to feel celebratory. French Bloom delivered all the ritual and refinement of sparkling rosé while allowing us to remain completely refreshed. There was no afternoon fatigue, no headaches, and no need to choose between indulging and feeling your best. We simply enjoyed the moment and drove home afterwards.
