Viennese Ball Montreal 2019 | Enchanting Austrian Dance Party Returns
The Austrian Society of Montreal has announced that Viennese Ball of Montreal 2019 — a fairy-tale evening that merges European traditions with modern Montreal lifestyle and charitable generosity — will take place on Saturday, November 16, at the Montreal Marriott Chateau Champlain hotel.
One of the city’s last two remaining debutante balls, the annual Viennese Ball of Montreal is a high-profile charity event that brings generations and cultures together to celebrate Austrian music, culinary delights, tradition, and custom.
The evening opens with a sumptuous five-course gourmet dinner, expertly prepared by the hotel chefs, and sipping sparkling wine provided by the Ambassador of Austria.
Guests enjoy the presentation and choreographed performance of the Ball’s debutantes and their escorts.
The spectacle ending with ballerinas from École de danse Tutu Deluxe and Studio Viva Danse.
Beyond all-night access to the dance floor with different live orchestras playing, guests will also be able to play some roulette and blackjack at an in-house Casino or taste traditional Viennese wine and beer at an Heurigen tavern. To top it all off, participants will have the opportunity to bid for great prizes at a Silent Auction, as well as the chance to win a delightful door prize.
Viennese Ball of Montreal 2019 will celebrate the 150th anniversary of the Vienna State Opera. Over the years this iconic institution has hosted the spectacular Vienna Opera Ball, the pinnacle of Vienna’s legendary Ball season. Today the Vienna State Opera remains at the centre of cultural life in Vienna and in Austria and is a symbol of music and art throughout the world.
