Santé to Life 2024 | Celebrating at Le Cathcart for The Montreal Children's 1

On Tuesday, April 9, the Young Leaders Circle of the Montreal Children’s Hospital Foundation took over Le Cathcart food hall of Place Ville Marie to hold the 4th edition of Santé to Life, a 6-à-9 soirée that raised $31,000 for the Healthy Kids Fund.

Organized by young professionals for young professionals, the event throughout the Cathcart main space allowed participants to enjoy oysters made with love by Chef Jason Nagy, as well as delicious pizza, poke bites and gourmet cookies…

Beyond sharp photobooth opportunities, they also had the chance to participate in an online auction or even buy an arm’s-length worth of raffle tickets, both in support of young patients.

The successful soirée — geared towards a demographic that is looking to give back at the start of their career — was a fun evening among friends, both old and new.

As Melissa Mastrogiuseppe, Zoe Holland and Alessia Di Giorgio of the Montreal Children’s Hospital Foundation were happy to tell us: “This generation is exceptionally community-minded and cause-oriented, with an eye towards bridging the gap between fun and philanthropy. It is of this philosophy that the Young Leaders Circle was born.”

As the newest committee in the YLC, Santé to Life is joining nearly a decade’s worth of different events that have raised over $1,000,000 combined. All the funds raised will go towards the Healthy Kids Fund to support the Hospital’s most urgent needs, to help transform care for countless of patients and their families.
