K4K Gala 2025 Dazzled as Maison Principale Was Turned into Moulin Rouge

On Saturday, May 3rd, Montreal’s philanthropic scene shone brighter than ever as Maison Principale hosted the K4K Gala, an unforgettable evening in support of the Montreal Children’s Hospital. This third consecutive edition, presented by Earth Rated and held in partnership with Sarah’s Fund for Cedars, brought together 400 guests and raised a solid $150,000 for children battling cancer.
Co-chaired by Costadina Mavros and Brahm Mauer, the Kids for Kids Gala has become a mainstay in Montreal’s charity calendar, and this year’s edition proved why. From its creative design by EM Events and spectacular execution by Total Events, the evening was a masterclass in purpose-driven celebration.

A Starry Start to a Heartfelt Night
The festivities began at 7 PM with an exclusive VIP reception that set a high bar for the night by welcoming attendees with a duo of Quebra Entertainment showgirls and a provocative performance by “the modern Marilyn Monroe” – Miss Elle Diamond.

Guests were treated to a culinary journey courtesy of JEGantic Hospitality Group, which curated food kiosks from its renowned Montreal establishments: Bord’Elle, The Farsides, YokoLuna, and Hang. This gastronomic lineup was nothing short of delicious, blending haute cuisine with comfort classics in a way that was both refined and accessible.

VIPs mingled over craft cocktails by Brahm Mauer Bar Services, soaking in the elegant ambiance and preparing for the night’s official kickoff.
Maison Principale Transforms into Moulin Rouge
At 9 PM, the grand doors to the main event opened, revealing a Moulin Rouge-themed lounge and dance floor that transported attendees straight to the iconic cabaret of Paris.
With red velvet drapes, windmill sails, dramatic lighting, and can-can flair, Maison Principale was transformed by infusing Parisian glamour into the heart of one of Montreal’s most luxurious event venues.

Guests — including VIP sponsors, such as Air Canada, Converse, and Maison 4110 — embraced the festive energy. There was a palpable sense of camaraderie in the room as local philanthropists, professionals, and influencers came together not just to party, but to rally around a cause that hits so close home.
Music, Magic, and Meaning
No gala is complete without music, and DJ Fafa Khan delivered a performance that was both physically energizing and emotionally resonant. Her curated set moved fluidly from nostalgic classics to modern chart-toppers, echoing the evening’s theme: bringing joy back to the kids.

The music wasn’t just for dancing. It served as a poignant reminder of what this gala helps fund — music therapy programs for young patients, which use sound to soothe, heal and inspire them to spread their wings and soar high.
A Celebration with Purpose
As the evening progressed, laughter, dance, and heartfelt conversation flowed freely. But beneath the glitz was a powerful purpose. The funds raised during the evening go directly to Sarah’s Fund for Cedars, helping provide care, support, and joy to children fighting cancer at the Montreal Children’s Hospital.
By the time the final toast was raised, the sense of achievement and unity in the room was undeniable. The K4K Gala had once again proven that Montreal knows how to come together—with style, soul, and generosity.

Community and Compassion Take Center Stage at K4K
The continued support from Earth Rated and the tireless work of the event organizers, including the impeccable efforts of designer Emilie Waxman and producer Lorne Levitt, underscore a city where compassion is not just a sentiment—it’s a practice.

Guests didn’t just leave with memories of an enchanting night. They left knowing they had helped bring hope and healing to children in their community. The K4K Gala 2025 may be over, but this year’s edition at Maison Principale will be remembered as a benchmark for what philanthropy in Montreal can look like: glamorous, grounded, and giving.
