Foundations are great complexion tools for enhancing the skin, they allow us to blur and diffuse hyper pigmentation, cover up bruises, blemishes, and more, while equally allowing us to modify the color of our skin, play with our skin’s texture by enhancing it with shine and reflection or mattifying the skin and allow no light to reflect.

Since foundations can alter the skin color and texture it is important to choose a foundation shade that suits your needs, expectations, lifestyle, skin type and color.

The choice of color for the face is always crucial, remember that it is important that the face and body have similarities, doubly important if skin of the decolletage is showing!

Any major differences in the color of the skin of the body and the skin of the face, signal that a skin correcting product is in use, which defeats a foundation’s true purpose; to mimic the skin and be a tool to perfect our complexion without it falsifying our natural coloration and complexion.

The Halo Healthy Glow Tinted Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 25 with Hyaluronic Acid is a lightweight, luminous, tinted moisturizer that spreads beautifully on the skin, offers a light coverage to the skin, and leaves the skin looking and feeling hydrated and dewy, all day long.

Even though there is a high SPF protection factor, it does not impact the impressive fluid texture of this tinted moisturizer. This is great if you want an easy to apply, light-coverage, tinted moisturizer that illuminates the skin beautifully; it also receives powders well; and is long lasting whether set with powder or not.

A beautiful foundation for daily use that is protecting and nourishing for the skin, an amazing hybrid makeup product that really impresses me; I have found myself wearing it often, as it looks untraceable in the sun and adapts to my skin tone.

It looks great after a long day’s wear and stays true to color, a new favorite of mine and definite suggestion! Light, luminous protection with good coverage, keeps your skin moist, evens out your complexion, and helps keep your skin  stay safe. A must have summer product!

Blurring texture to enhance the beauty!

The Turn UP the Base Blur Balm Hybrid Foundation from ONE/SIZE by Patrick Starr is a whipped, texture-reducing, hyper-pigmentation diminishing miracle in a red tube with panache!

This amazing product is vegan and cruelty free and packs a wallop of hydration to make it even more comfortable on the skin. It is equally extremely lightweight and does wonders at reducing the appearance of lines and the appearance of the pores, the medium coverage is buildable and covers blemishes, hyper-pigmentation, and redness well.

My pores are larger, so I first tried patting the product onto my skin, never dragging it, to allow the blurring technology to build and layer on top of my pores. I was impressed by how much the blurring, beauty, balm layers to give more coverage and make the skin appear even smoother than before.

The Turn Up the Base Blur Balm Hybrid Foundation wears well, is quick and easy to apply and stays true to color, drying to a semi-matte finish. I use a little powder to set in my oilier areas and the product stays true to color, throughout the day.

As I continue to discover the products from ONE/SIZE by Patrick Starr, I continue to be incredibly impressed by the thoughtfulness behind the products and their performance.

True to skin color and medium to high, buildable coverage.

Now some of you, may prefer a more covering foundation, something where the pigment will always cover the skin, blend with your existing skin color, and look dewy and satiny, all at once.
