Since its opening in October 2019, this eclectic gourmet food hall has been a vibrant epicenter of the city’s culinary scene, offering locals and visitors a chance to experience Montreal’s cultural diversity through food.

And now, for five themed evenings, Le Central invites everyone to join the celebration with its special “5 till Late” series. If you’re a food lover seeking a unique dining experience, mark your calendars for October 17, 24, 31, as well as November 7 and 14.

Experience 5 Unforgettable Evenings of Food and Music

Le Central promises an immersive experience as it celebrates its anniversary with five festive evenings, each combining gourmet dining with a lively musical backdrop. From 5 PM till late, you’ll have the chance to sample the best from Le Central’s 20 signature restaurants, while soaking in the street-food-inspired ambiance of this dynamic venue.

A Hub of Culinary Creativity

Le Central is not your typical food hall. It’s a gathering space for some of Montreal’s most passionate independent restaurateurs. These chefs and entrepreneurs bring their creative flair to the table every day, serving up dishes that reflect Montreal’s cultural melting pot. Whether you’re craving a quick bite or planning a full-on culinary adventure, the variety at Le Central never disappoints.

For those attending the “5 till Late” evenings, expect to be wowed by the culinary diversity on offer. From gourmet sandwiches to authentic Mexican tacos, each dish is crafted with care and bursting with flavor. It’s the perfect opportunity to explore new flavors while revisiting your favorites.

New Arrivals to Discover

In time for its 5th anniversary, Le Central is also welcoming two exciting new restaurants to its lineup. First, there’s Chez Ta Mère, a sandwich shop run by Hamza Bousaidan. Already a hit in Mile-End, Chez Ta Mère brings its innovative, home-style sandwiches to downtown Montreal. Using only the highest-quality ingredients and making everything in-house, this spot offers a fresh take on comforting classics.

Also joining the mix is Norte, a project by Chef Manuel Salgado, who previously helmed the popular Bonita’s Taco and Deli. At Norte, you can dive into the bold, authentic flavors of northern Mexico. From juicy birria tacos to smoky rib eye, each bite delivers a taste of Mexico’s rich culinary heritage. Norte is sure to become a favorite among those who love spice and authenticity.
