Reading is super fun. There are countless books out there for everyone. Although it is extremely satisfying, busy lives and tiredness force us to put down the books. Go on a run, a walk, or if you have a bicycle, make use of it! Fresh air is tremendously important right now. It refreshes us and helps us think more clearly.
Don’t want to leave the house? Do some at home exercises. There are countless apps and YouTube videos to help. Whatever you do, make sure to get some exercise and move around once in a while.
5. Self-care is essential
Tired from all that exercising? It is time to wind down. Don’t be too hard on yourself during lockdown. We all need to chill sometimes. Watch some Netflix. Go through your list and watch the movies/TV shows you never got around to watching. Wanna watch with a friend? Use Netflix Party and watch movies with your buddies. It’s completely free! Do a face-mask, take a bubble-bath. There is so much to do!
Always wanted to learn a new language? Well now you have all the time in the world to do so. Download Duolingo and get going. Start journaling, start a blog. Now is the time to take care of yourself and do the things you’ve never had time for.
6. Hobby time
Many at-home hobbies are forgotten during our hectic day-to-day lives. Things such as painting, singing, playing an instrument, woodworking, sewing and everything in between. Get back into what you love doing. Get a canvas and start painting. You have a lot of time and no excuses.
Have no hobbies you can do at home? Start doing one. Always wanted to sew? Get a needle, thread and some fabric. Most things are readily available at your local Walmart. Pick up your neglected hobbies once again and start fresh. There truly is nothing better than doing what you love!
