Last Call for the MTL Auto Show
At the MTL Auto Show, discover 2 of the fastest cars in the world and one fully designed in Quebec! The Montreal Auto Show opened its doors last Friday and the city will be rumbling until 27 of January. The Best Kept MTL team did its rounds and compiled a list of 8 models which are a MUST SEE if you get past the turnstiles of Palais des Congres. Time to unravel our top 5 picks:
1- Felino CB7R
Designed by the French Canadian driver Antoine Bessette, the Felino cB7R is an adapted version for the road of a cB7, which was on display in 2014. It has a V8 engine and 700 horsepower and only 10 FelinocB7R will be built for a mere $350,000.
2- Toyota Supra
Just launched to the world at the Detroit Auto Show, the new Toyota Supra 2020 is passing by Montreal and a Canadian Auto Show. The Supra 2020 has a 6 cylinder engine and 335 horsepower it got from BMW.
3- Nissan Altima – TE AWD
For the promotion of its latest Altima all-wheel drive, Nissan radically transformed it intermediate Berlin by trading in its wheels for a track system. This unique sports car, modified by the Quebec company Motorsports in Action, will be used as a promotional tool for Nissan Canada.
4- Jeep Gladiator
After a 25 year hiatus, the pickup truck is back at Jeep! Sharing a number of components with the mystical Wrangler, the Jeep Gladiator will no doubt make heads of fans of the American brand turn at the Palais des congrès.
5- Last but not least I had to combine these 2 beasts in the same league – The Koenigsegg Agera RS & the Bugatti Chiron
Also part of the Olivier Benloulou collection, the Koenigsegg Agera RS is by the most photographed cars at Montreal’s Auto Show. This beast of a ride holds the fastest on record, for a production model of 447,19 km/hr!
The Bugatti Chiron is the fastest of its kind – 420 km/hr. Its sophisticated design, innovative technology, and iconic, performance-oriented form make it a unique masterpiece of art, form, and technique, that pushes boundaries beyond. If you find the Felino is pricey, wait until you get the bill for the Bugatti Chiron! This exclusive vehicle where only 500 replicas will be built is owned by the French Canadian business tycoon Olivier Benloulou. The vehicle goes for a whopping $5M.
