The Montreal branch represents nearly 3,000 professional performers working in English-language recorded media. 2019 ACTRA Montreal Woman of the Year, Eramelinda Boquer, will be recognized at the event and Life Membership will be presented to Dawn Ford and Bill Rowat. The show will be hosted by comedian, actor Chris Sandiford.
“There are so many talented performers in Montreal and we’re fortunate there is an abundance of amazing projects being produced in this city,” says Simon Peacock, ACTRA Montreal President. “From their roles on TV shows, to feature films and videogames, it gives us great pleasure to celebrate our members’ outstanding performances at our upcoming awards gala.”
As an advocate for Canadian culture since 1943, ACTRA is a member-driven organization that continues to secure rights and respect for the work of professional performers.
