Le Renoir Restaurant’s Urban Terrace Offers New Decor
The perfect place to enjoy cocktails in the heart of downtown Montreal, Le Renoir –the French restaurant at the Sofitel Montreal Golden Mile hotel– is offering a revamped urban terrace this year.
In this new decor, adorned with summer floral arrangements, a lounge area, and a green wall lit with the neon sign “Champagne, S’il vous plait“, the atmosphere is sumptuous and exceptional.
As tradition dictates, chef Olivier Perret and his team have put together an original summer bar menu, where local products will be showcased in several tapas-style dishes.
For the warm season, many gourmet, refreshing and sophisticated proposals are on the menu of Le Renoir:
Le tartare de boeuf – beef tartare entrée accompanied by creamy iodized peas, mujol caviar, candied egg yolk, green onions and candied lemon purée.
Bouchée en croûte de pain soufflé au thon – tuna tartare with pomegranate and cucumber salsa garnished with a lemon and pepper purée and a tomato mousse, all in a most original presentation.
La pieuvre – lacquered octopus with maple and citrus sauce, accompanied by its crunchy fennel salad and crumbled grapefruit and lime.
Le filet de bar – bass fish with tender flesh and marbled with a lemon coulis and a shrimp bisque, served with a variation of radishes.
Every Thursday, enjoy happy hour evenings in the company of a DJ with colleagues or friends, in a place where gastronomy, refinement and a festive atmosphere reign.
