🖌️ 1️⃣ Vernissage Expo Art Tonique by La Marquise de Ville-Émard
📍 Galerie-Atelier Lucie Michel, 5975 boul. Monk, Ville-Émard, Montréal
🗓️ Thursday, October 23, 2025 | 4 PM – 9 PM
Get ready for a vibrant evening hosted by La Marquise de Ville-Émard, a multidisciplinary artist who paints, performs, and even dances her art into life. Her new series bursts with color, movement, and emotional resonance.
The event takes place at Galerie-Atelier Lucie Michel, a creative space dedicated to the late artist Lucie Michel, who passed away from ovarian cancer in 2022. In a beautiful gesture, proceeds from this exhibition will support ovarian cancer foundations. Expect a heartfelt, dynamic vernissage, part art show, part tribute, and all heart. 💗
🎭 2️⃣ What Cradles and What Drowns – Solo Show by Catherine Morin
📍 Maison de la Culture Plateau-Mont-Royal, 465 Mont-Royal Est (across from Mont-Royal metro)
🗓️ Thursday, October 23, 2025 | 5 PM – 7:30 PM
Painter Catherine Morin presents What Cradles and What Drowns, a new collection of “paintings of imbalance” curated by Gabrielle Poliquin. Her work captures the modern age teetering between mysticism and exhaustion, yet never without humor.
Represented by Galerie Wishbone, Morin has been painting full-time since 2010 and is part of a lively, underground community of Montreal artists. Expect a packed crowd of creators and collectors at this Thursday vernissage. 🎨✨
🏛️ 3️⃣ Dual Exhibition – Michel Pierre Lachance (Painter) & Michel Dufresne (Sculptor)
📍 Galerie L’Espace, 4844 boul. St-Laurent, Montréal
🗓️ Thursday, October 23, 2025 | 5 PM – 8 PM
A meeting of two Michels, both masters in their fields. Michel Pierre Lachance, architect-turned-painter and longtime design professor, brings hard-edge compositions that bridge Op Art and Abstract Expressionism.
He’s joined by Michel Dufresne, a sculptor and urban designer with a deep passion for public art. His stone sculptures evoke the dialogue between structure and emotion. Together, their works create a visual symphony that’s both cerebral and tactile, one of this week’s most anticipated pairings. 🪨🖼️
