#3 Mascarade – Acte de Défiance

This powerful dual exhibition by Lavi Picu and Lilian Cuer examines what often remains hidden beneath everyday life.
Using UV-reactive paintings, ink, sculpture and mixed-media installations, both artists explore themes including chronic illness, ecological disruption and the fragile relationship between humanity and the natural world.
Drawing from her personal experiences living with Lyme disease and lupus, Lavi Picu transforms invisible health challenges into compelling visual narratives. Lilian Cuer approaches similar questions from an environmental perspective, creating sculptures and textile works that challenge our relationship with nature and the ecosystems we inhabit.
