Emboldened by the city’s vibrant culinary scene, Tiramisu’s concept marries Italian cuisine with Japanese influences to provide an original creative mix. The menu, created by Chef Chanthy Yen, offers traditional Italian pizzas and pastas, as well as the Italian-Japanese fusion items like Sushi Arancini, Tataki, Mollusco Pizza, and Tonkotsu Lasagna.

The restaurant is also accompanied by Caffè Misu, which serves at any time of the day Italian pastries, gelatos, and specialty coffees in collaboration with Montreal micro-roasters Café Saint-Henri.

The essence of the restaurant and café is inspired by the Italian expression “Tira Me Sù”, which translates to “pick me up” and “cheer me up”. Both the restaurant and café act as casual-chic dining experiences. Guests can explore different culinary options and finish their meal with a delicious coffee and dessert – which of course includes an irresistible tiramisu!

Beyond a wine list, which offers both Italian classics and natural wines; a great selection of sake is also available to the ones who want a Japanese experience. To complete their menu, Tiramisu has partnered with the Coldroom Bar to offer their customers creative cocktails, revisiting Italian drinks with a touch of Japanese flavors, such as the simple yet original Briscola Spritz and Smoked Plum Negroni.

The unique Italian-Japanese experience of Tiramisu is reflected in a traditional decor in keeping with the spirit of Chinatown. The firm MRDK (Menard Dworkind Architecture & Design) created an interior design that captures the exuberance of 1960s Italy.

The eclectic mix of materials such as marble, chrome, terrazzo, and velvet all add a unique character to the 3,000-square-foot restaurant.
