🖌️ 1. Hermann Lacroix at Galerie Erga

📍 6394 St-Laurent Blvd, Montreal
📅 Wednesday, August 6, 2025, 6 PM to 9 PM

Hermann Lacroix at Galerie Erga

This week’s must-see moment comes courtesy of French-born artist Hermann Lacroix. Born in 1981 and living in Canada since 1992, his work draws from poetry, music, and philosophy—while paying homage to post-war abstract masters like Robert Motherwell, Toko Shinoda, Hans Hartung, and Pierre Soulages. 🖤

Galerie Erga, known for its generous space and natural light, offers the perfect setting to appreciate Lacroix’s nuanced, powerful paintings. Expect a warm, welcoming vibe—ideal for meaningful exchanges with the artist and other guests. 📚🖼️

🌎 2. Omar Bernal Benitez at Galerie 2790

📍 2790 Hochelaga St, Montreal
📅 Friday, August 8, 2025, from 6 PM

Omar Bernal Benitez at Galerie 2790

Head to Hochelaga for one of this summer’s most exciting openings. The newly launched Galerie 2790 is debuting TOUSKI, an exhibit by Mexican-born, Montreal-based multidisciplinary artist Omar Bernal Benitez. Since arriving in 2016, Bernal has developed a richly layered practice combining public art, murals, installation, video, and digital works. 💥

Trained in art history and graphic design, he works with recycled materials and reimagined images to reflect on contemporary society. This vernissage is held in partnership with the 30th edition of the Under Pressure graffiti festival, happening downtown August 9 and 10. 🎨🔥

A raw, energetic show where street art meets social critique—this one’s not to be missed.

📸 3. Carlo Bianchini at Galerie BBAM!

📍 808 Atwater Avenue, Montreal
📅 Friday, August 8, 2025, 6 PM to 9 PM

Carlo Bianchini at Galerie BBAM!

Looking for something more introspective? Galerie BBAM! invites you to Life / Art / Gratitude, a photo-based show by emerging Montreal artist Carlo Bianchini. His hybrid approach blends photography and collage to create deeply personal digital and analog compositions. 🧘‍♂️📷

A conversation with the artist is scheduled for Saturday, August 9 at 2 PM—for those curious about his creative process. True to BBAM! tradition, the atmosphere promises to be friendly, inclusive, and musical. 🪩

It’s a short run (only three days), but this show delivers a high emotional impact—perfect for lovers of visual poetry and contemplative art.
