SUGAR BALL 2024 | McCord Museum’s Sweet Spot Party Takes You to The 9th Floor
Looking to celebrate spring, history and generosity with flair, all the while making a difference? The SUGAR BALL of the McCord Museum Foundation is back for its 12th edition on Friday, May 3rd, in the grand hall of the 9th floor of the Montreal Eaton Centre.
An annual initiative of the Young McCord Philanthropists, the Sugar Ball is an opportunity for up-and-coming urban professionals to come together to support the McCord Stewart Museum. All proceeds raised during the event are donated to the Museum to finance educational and cultural programs of over 10,000 school-aged children and youths.
After the success of the ball’s 11th edition at Arsenal in 2023, what should guests expect this year? A not-to-be-missed chance to attend a black tie evening in the art-deco ambiance of an iconic downtown Montreal landmark, reopening its doors after 25 years – Le 9e.
Guests will be treated to a beauty touch-up booth, open bar with signature cocktails, gourmet food stations, buffets filled with all-you-can-eat sweet treats, and a huge dance party with DJs Forrest and Del Arte.
Presented by Holt Renfrew Ogilvy, and inspired by the Museum’s upcoming photography and fashion exhibitions, such as Norman Parkinson: Always in Style, the Sugar Ball will have some surprises in store. But places are limited so reserve your ticket now and get ready to dress to impress with your best cocktail dress!
