From 7 PM to 11 PM, guests were treated to a smörgåsbord on a long table and a meticulously curated selection of scotch and whiskies, each chosen to complement each other. The tasting journey was accompanied by a variety of premium cigars, offering the ultimate pairing for the connoisseurs present. Guy Baillargeon’s preview of what networking events will look and feel like at La Banque – a social club with private cellars he plans to build and open at a different location in the fall of 2024 – came to life in the most splendid way.

In the heart of Châteauguay, an off-island suburb of Montreal, Manoir Blackswan played a pivotal role in the evening’s success. Its owner – visionary art and antique dealer Emmanuel Hébert – has been embellishing his mansion since 2020; where he not only lives, but also uses as a showroom for his chandelier collection, and rents out for glamorous photo and video shoots.
