Alibi Lounge | Craft Cocktail Bar in the Heart of Hudson
Steeped in elegance, the Alibi Lounge is a new craft cocktail bar that brings a downtown Montreal vibe to the quaint little town of Hudson. Patrons –locals and out-of-towners alike– can enjoy a deliciously crafted cocktail in a relaxed ambiance, exquisitely decorated in the style of the bygone days of the old speakeasy lounges.
Both their signature cocktails and specials of the week are a work of art, making the experience personal and fresh every time. Not only are their cocktails lovingly created but their homemade mixes and garnishes are also an integral part of what brings an ordinary drink to a sophisticated cocktail.
Guests can also sip outside in their beautifully elegant terrace while enjoying the evening air, their favorite cocktail and good company.
With a passion for cocktails, Alibi Lounge‘s charismatic owner Alex Mate has travelled across North America enjoying amazing creations from the top bars and wanted to share this with everyone back home. As he was more than happy to tell us during the media event:
I truly believe that there is a need for this type of establishment in our region. The experience that we are aiming for is for our clients to discover a whole new side of themselves in terms of their taste profiles, we will push the envelope on our creativity and educate our clients in the fine art of cocktail, one drink at a time.
With the vision of opening the first true craft cocktail bar in Hudson, while contributing to this surprisingly affluent town’s new-found effervescence; Mate reached out to master bartender and mixologist Chris Natale of Bar-Ops to help shape his vision, take it to another level and bring it to fruition.
The result of the two working together has produced a high-end craft cocktail bar with a unique approach – managed by the lovely Cynthia Decoteau – making the Alibi Lounge a must visit place on your next road trip.
