Special note from its Papier 2021 Spokesperson
Actress Karine Vanasse, a dedicated collaborator continues to introduce Papier, but also contemporary art, to the general public. The Canadian actress, who can be seen on screen in the series Cardinal and Après, has always had a very contagious passion for art.
“Over and beyond the life that art brings into my daily existence and environment, artworks ae to me an important and constant reminder of the language we have between us, which flows through something else than words.
For me, Papier is an important encounter with Art. Art that makes you see things differently, genuinely. To come across an artist’s universe and to accept that the other will not see it in the same way. It is a powerful source of communication, beyond words. I believe that it does good.”
