OASIS immersion | MTL’s Largest Indoor Immersive Space Opens
After the recent reopening of Montreal museums to the delight of the art deprived, there is more good news: OASIS immersion is a new permanent immersive museum destination opening inside the Palais des congrès, on February 25, 2021. Located on the ground floor of the Montreal Convention Centre in a 2,000 m2 space; OASIS immersion is a walkable, no contact experience featuring 3 immersive galleries, 2 dazzling light installations and a lounge area with café and boutique.
For its first exhibition, OASIS immersion presents Inspirations, a soul-soothing immersive and enthralling experience inspired by the people, the places and the trends that shape and galvanize our world, here and around the globe.
Visitors will be able to immerse themselves in the spatial universe of Canadian Space Agency astronaut David Saint-Jacques to relive the great moments of his mission; while pianist Alexandra Stréliski stars in three immersive scenes inspired by her creative journey and supported by musical pieces from the excellent Inscape album. YouTuber Émile Roy offers an inspiring eulogy for resilience and action, against the backdrop of the great upheavals we experienced in 2020.
Also featuring the new architectural wonders of the world, hygge-style comfort and wellness and an ode to Quebec’s creativity; Inspirations touches and inspires through topics such as optimism and following your dreams.

Date: Opens Thursday, February 25, 2021
Opening Hours: Monday to Sunday 10AM – 7PM (Given the current curfew, the last visit will start at 5:40PM)
Duration: The exhibition has starting times every 20 minutes and there is a limited number of visitors for each of these starts. Average visit duration is 75 minutes.
