To celebrate the arrival of spring, Manik Fashion invites its distinguished clientele to its Havana-themed event on March 21st! The evening will mark the launch of its new collection, Havane by Manik, and will feature a special guest, Heidi Hollinger, whose latest book, “300 Reasons to Love Havana” Volume 2, was recently published by Éditions de l’Homme. Hollinger will be present to introduce her book and hold a signing session / English version of the book also available.
“300 Reasons to Love Havana” Volume 2 continues Hollinger’s exploration of the history of this colonial Spanish gem, Art Deco, and modern architecture, inhabited by beautiful and friendly people. You’ll discover the real Havana, the capital of Cuba, with the charming writer and photographer Heidi Hollinger, who will share her insider’s perspective on this exhilarating city.
“300 Reasons to Love Havana” Volume 2 offers an insider’s journey with Heidi Hollinger through Havana’s rich history, stunning architecture, and vibrant culture. CC Rondo Banks For Manik Fashion, which will soon celebrate its 15th year of creation, collaborating with Hollinger closes a circle, as she is the personality who inspired the brand’s beginnings by wearing its first hand-painted Manik creations on screen when she hosted Port d’Attaches 14 years ago on TV5 and Discovery Channel.
Collaborating with international celebrities is not new for Manik Fashion, and the brand has recently made its way into Hollywood’s exclusive circle by dressing one of its stars. International actress Claudia Ferri – and Manik Fashion had a serendipitous encounter, which resulted in a collaboration for a major red carpet event, the Palm Royale premiere, a new series expected on Apple TV on March 20th. Guest starring with legends Kristen Wiig, Allison Janney, Ricky Martin, Carol Burnett, Laura Dern, Ferri turned heads in one of the signature HAVANE creations by Manik on March 14th, alongside the biggest stars of Hollywood cinema.
The HAVANE collection by Manik, created in 2021, is inspired by the colors, resilience, and creativity of this unique capital!
