La Grande Dégustation de Montréal-
Participate in the largest wine event in eastern Canada!
The largest wine tasting event in Eastern Canada will be returning to Montreal this fall, and there will be plenty of tasting, savouring and spitting going on! Wine tastings are one of my favorite activities as I am very picky with what I like to drink. Once I hit 36, all of a sudden, 99% of wine under $20 tasted like absolute horse piss. Therefore, the discovery of wine that is drinkable for under $20 is always notable!
La Grande Dégustation de Montréal, now in its 12th year, is back and greater than ever. This year’s exhibition, which has 280 international exhibitors and more than 1,600 ready-to-taste bottles is centred around three main themes: world tour, bubbles, and cocktails.
Connoisseurs and novice fans alike can enjoy two full days of tasting spirits from 25 nations and 80 various wine subregions from October 21 to 22. Visitors will have the opportunity to chat with wine producers and distributors. Additionally, it’s the ideal time to stock up for the holidays.
Presented by A3 Québec and the Société des alcools du Québec (SAQ), the event will be the perfect opportunity to meet producers, winegrowers and distillers, in addition to being able to taste and order their products on site, in a simple and fast way.
The price of the event’s tickets is presently $18. They are accessible in and around Montreal both online and at participating SAQs. A tasting glass and a visitor’s guide are included in the cost.
