July Beauty Buzz | Summer Fridays
July Beauty Buzz is here and I am so excited to share some of the unbelievable products I have been trying of late, we will focus on Summer Fridays, Paula’s Choice and more in this edition of the July Beauty Buzz.
With the humidity and heat here to stay for a few months, we are in a period where we best get some rest and enjoy taking life a little easier; because the intensity of the heat is hard to beat.
This does not mean that I neglect my beauty rituals; it means that I adapt them to the reality of the heat and humidity around me. I pick and choose my products wisely, selecting the most efficient cosmetics for this time of year, because during this tropical heatwave season, less is always more.
Gone are my nights and mornings of multiple coats of hydration and moisture, in place, I want a fast regimen that absorbs quickly and gives my skin the nutrition it needs to perform and look its very best, all summer long!

Fridays All Summer Long
Summer Fridays makes incredible cosmetic products, their efficient skincare products yield amazing results, I recently began trying some of their makeup products along with their skincare, and I am incredibly impressed.

I have tested it in several situations with multiple foundation application techniques, I have found that it performs best with sheerer type products, that have a similar, weightless feel on the skin.

I love that when I powdered my Sheer Skin Tint by Summer Fridays with a mattifying powder, the skin still gave a beautiful sheen, as light hit the high points of my face, the powder was undetectable on top.

Paula’s Choice recently expanded in Sephora Canada and there are currently 5 different products to choose from, my favorite product from Paula’s Choice is the Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant.
The Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant by Paula’s Choice is the best liquid exfoliant I have ever tried, featuring 2% Salicylic Acid to penetrate deep into the pores and clear build up; the formula also has Green Tea, an excellent anti-oxidant to soothe irritation and Methylpropanediol, which hydrates the skin and gives it a glow-y appearance.
The Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant from Paula’s Choice is a godsend to diminish the appearance of pores and firm their appearance on the skin, I use this product every other night and I cannot recommend this product enough, for anyone that struggles with their pore dilation, this is your new best friend!
Fenty Skin’s Cherry Scrub
Fenty Skin recently released their Cherry Dub Superfine Daily Cleansing Face Scrub, which is an excellent physical exfoliant for those of you who prefer a physical scrub to a liquid exfoliant.
