Grove Campus, a yoga apparel company and leading organization in promoting holistic well-being, is looking to bring attention to a pressing issue that has been increasingly affecting individuals across the globe—the pervasive lack of connection and belonging in today’s fast-paced and digitally-driven world. Not only that, but a lack of accessibility to mental health support to address the issue of loneliness is almost non-existent.

A survey by Statistics Canada in mid-2021 found that more than 40 percent of Canadians feel lonely some or all of the time, with the problem worse, as one might imagine, among single people and those who live alone. Grove Campus is on a mission to address this problem; with community at the core of what we do, we’re excited to share that Yoga Fest is back for its third year.

We’re More Disconnected Than Ever

In our hyper-connected era, one would assume that we are more connected than ever before. However, paradoxically, the advent of social media and virtual networks has inadvertently led to a gradual erosion of genuine human connection and a deep sense of community. People are yearning for authentic interactions, meaningful relationships, and a place where they truly feel like they belong.

Community is at the Forefront of Everything We Do

Bringing together a group of yoga and wellness enthusiasts from our local community, and beyond, this full-day festival is the perfect opportunity to immerse yourself in the practice of yoga, ecstatic dance journeys, and connect with like-minded individuals.

Representation is Top of Mind

In our society, many do not attend wellness events because of lack of representation; there is an inexcusable lack of racial diversity in the wellness industry, along with access to therapeutic tools and coping mechanisms. With representation top of mind, attendees can expect entertainment from the Indigenous community, BIPOC instructors and diverse local vendors.

The Yoga Fest ‘23 Mission

We believe that by raising awareness about the importance of community and providing actionable solutions (like Yoga Fest) we can begin to collectively reverse the tide of isolation and create a world where everyone feels connected, supported, and valued.

Highlights of the Yoga Festival include:

Meditation and Reiki: Immerse yourself in the soothing practice of meditation and experience the healing energy of Reiki to find balance and harmony.

Yoga Sessions: Participate in three invigorating yoga sessions led by experienced and renowned instructors, guiding practitioners of all levels through a variety of styles and techniques.

Local Vendors: Explore a vibrant marketplace featuring local vendors offering wellness products, sustainable goods, and unique treasures to support a mindful lifestyle.

Plant-Based Food: Nourish your body and delight your taste buds with a delectable selection of plant-based food offered by Chef T. Light.

Free Childcare: To ensure that all attendees can fully immerse themselves in the festival experience, complimentary childcare services will be provided.
