On Saturday, May 4th, the Gala InfluenceCréation returned with its much-anticipated second edition, bringing together over 800 content creators, influencers, and fans to celebrate the vibrant world of Québecois digital content. Held at the Circus Arts City TOHU venue in Montreal, this event, produced by Laurence Labrosse-Héroux and presented by Karine Joncas, showcased the best in local content creation, offering a glamorous evening filled with entertainment, recognition, and celebration.

The evening began with a star-studded red carpet event from 5 PM to 7:30 PM. Attendees had the chance to reconnect with their favorite creators while enjoying an array of hors d’oeuvres, an open bar, and various interactive activations. The atmosphere was electric, with photographers capturing the dazzling fashion and animated conversations as guests mingled in a beautifully decorated setting.

At 7:30 PM, the main event commenced. Hosted by a charismatic MC, the Gala InfluenceCréation honored 16 outstanding creators across three main categories: Principal, Star, and Discovery. Each category recognized the unique contributions of creators in areas such as lifestyle, beauty, humor, fitness, food, travel, family, art, education, and more.

In the Principal Categories, the winners were Lucie Rhéaume for Lifestyle, Cynthia Dulude for Fashion & Beauty, Claudie Mercier for Humor & Entertainment, Cath Bastien for Sports & Fitness, Le Fit Cook for Food & Nutrition, PRÊTS POUR LA ROUTE for Adventure & Travel, Cassandra Bouchard for Family & Parenting, Marianne Plaisance for Artistic Expression, Michelle, la MD colorée for Education & Awareness. Each of these creators was celebrated for their exceptional ability to engage and inspire their audiences through high-quality, impactful content.

The Star Categories highlighted the cream of the crop, with accolades going to Mathieu Pellerin for Streamer of the Year, Sexe Oral for Podcast of the Year, Beach Day Every Day for Company of the Year, Victoria Charlton for YouTuber of the Year, Lysandre Nadeau for Instagrammer of the Year, Marc-Antoine Delage for TikToker of the Year, and Shahin Ouest for Creator of the Year. These awards underscored the exceptional talent and influence of these creators within the digital landscape of Quebec.

Emerging talents were not left out, as the Discovery Categories spotlighted rising stars streamer Nulukie, creator Marilou Octeau, podcast Datestable and company Menz Club. These awards celebrated the fresh, innovative voices that are shaping the future of content creation in the province.

The event also marked the significant launch of the Association des Créatrices et Créateurs de Contenu du Québec (ACREA). This new organization aims to support and elevate the profession of content creators by establishing professional and ethical standards within the industry. Co-founded by content creator Anthony Tran, ACREA represents a significant step forward in recognizing the professional and social impact of content creators in Quebec.

Tran, addressing the audience, emphasized the crucial role content creators play in today’s cultural landscape: “Content creators have the power to captivate a vast audience and further diversify our cultural industry. Tonight, we celebrate their invaluable contributions, highlighting those who stand out for their creativity, ingenuity, and the reach of their messages.”

The evening’s festivities continued into the night with a VIP after-party from 9:30 PM to 2 AM. Guests enjoyed a lively ambiance complete with a DJ, additional tastings, and an outdoor content creation space. The open bar and unlimited food ensured that everyone could revel in the celebration responsibly and comfortably.

This year’s Gala InfluenceCréation was a testament to the thriving digital content scene in Quebec. It not only celebrated the achievements of established creators but also shone a spotlight on emerging talents, fostering a sense of community and recognition within the industry.
