This fall, Le Monastère presents Cabaret ALL STARS, a celebration of the artists and acts that have left their mark on its stage over the years, alongside renowned performers making their Monastère debut.
Think less retrospective and more living, breathing, flying highlight reel.

A Circus All-Star Team
Hosted by artist, clown and director Jérémy Vitupier, the evening brings together an impressive range of contemporary circus disciplines.
The lineup includes Alexis Vigneault on aerial straps, Fleuriane Cornet on acrobatic bicycle, Kellin Quinn juggling with skittles, Danielle Saulnier balancing on canes, Marie Lebot and Corentin Lemaitre performing duo trapeze, Katarina Šobinkovičová on aerial hoop, Marjorie Nantel combining balancing and contortion, and William Borges bringing both straps and hat manipulation to the stage.
DJ Michel Michel provides the soundtrack.

What makes this edition especially intriguing is that Le Monastère hasn’t simply pulled successful numbers out of storage. The acts have been reimagined and brought together specifically for this production, allowing disciplines to meet, interact and provoke one another.
The result promises technical prowess, poetry, vertigo and more than a few completely unexpected moments.
Familiar Faces, New Surprises
For artistic director and Monastère co-founder Guillaume Blais, that’s exactly the point: ALL STARS is about rediscovering artists audiences have loved while continuing to be surprised by what’s happening in contemporary circus.

Founded in 2016 by circus artists Rosalie Beauchamp and Guillaume Blais, Le Monastère was created to give independent circus artists a place to perform outside the conventional circus circuit. Its home at Centre St Jax on Sainte-Catherine Street gives these performances an unusually intimate setting, one where you’re close enough to appreciate just how extraordinary these feats actually are.
That’s part of what makes Cabaret ALL STARS stand out among September events in Montreal. You’re not watching circus from the distant reaches of a giant arena. The entire concept is built around proximity, atmosphere and experiencing contemporary circus up close.
