Commerce + Creativity (C2) Montreal 2019 | The time is now

This Wednesday, 5,000 top executives and creative souls from around the world descend on Montreal to attend one the worlds most preeminent conferences, C2 Montreal. Now in its 9th year, C2 MTL is the brainchild of ad agency Sid Lee and performing dreams scape creator Cirque de Soleil. For the uninitiated, C2 stands for Commerce and Creativity and serves as the guiding vision for the 3-day immersive conference with the mission of providing a paradigm shift in the global outlook for those who attend.

For 2019, C2 is focusing on tomorrow. A strange concept as most business events always talk about right now. Tomorrow is what C2 hopes to inspire in its attendees to change. No more talk about climate change, equality in the workforce or personal change.

Talk is for today, action is what they want, and they have 5 pillars of focus to guide the world of tomorrow; Shifting Perspectives, Moving Audiences, Living in Ecosystems, The Next Frontier, and Cultivating Innovation. These pillars serve as the themes for not just conference speakers, immersive experiences and hands-on workshops.

$2,995 is the entry price for Montreal’s premier business event, with daily passes starting at $1395. While the prices are unchanged from last year, the intersection of commerce and creativity is at new location for 2019. C2 has left its birthplace at Arsenal to establish a new homeland for its transformative event.

Montreal has decided to reclaim the land C2 was held on to convert the space into new park land. This makes 2019 a new beginning for C2 MTL. As always, Best Kept MTL will be bringing you coverage of the entire event from start to finish.

The closing party, Illumination Night, is open to the public and has always been one Montreal’s best events. This year’s party, hosted by Stradigi AI, brings out a line up of Montreal’s legendary DJs and visual ambiance by Josselin Bey aka. Bewoy and Dalkhafine. Tickets to the closing party can be purchased for $75 here. The 3-day event and closing party are taking place at Grande Studios and runs from May 22nd to the 24th.

A must see for commerce + creativity in action is the Theirry Mugler event at the Montreal Museum of Art.
