Bulles & Tapis Rouge 2022 | Glamorous Gala on Grand Quay
After a two-year hiatus, one of the most exclusive philanthropic red carpet events in the city is finally bubbling back. The 10th edition of the Bulles & Tapis Rouge Gala – the annual fundraising evening for the benefit of the Quebec Lung Association – will be held on Wednesday, August 31, at the Grand Quay of the Port of Montreal.
The event, hosted this year by Genevieve Borne, will be an opportunity for the 500 attendees to enjoy a fashion show curated by Hans Koechling and featuring the fall-winter 2022 creations of 10 renowned Quebec designers:

Emerging designers from LaSalle College, Cégep Marie-Victorin and École supérieure de mode de l’ESG UQAM will also be showcased during the gala as a window into the future of fashion.
This celebratory evening, which has raised $1.2 million since its first edition in 2011, is held in support of research, rehabilitation, education and prevention of respiratory diseases affecting three million people in Quebec. It’s a friendly yet glamorous event that will also give a voice to some of the patients living with illness through the A Look for the Cause section. In addition to sharing their stories, many of them will participate in the fashion show.
This prestigious cocktail reception is a perfect combination of entertainment, pleasures, reflections, and gourmet cuisine with refined and delicious appetizers created by chef Dominic Guindon of Société Traiteur.
Multiple designers who will attend the event joined forces to create illustrations for limited edition t-shirts, which are currently for sale on the Quebec Lung Association’s website.
A few weeks before the event as well as throughout the evening, guests will be able to bid on several lots at the silent online auction, an initiative made possible by donations from partners, such as Angela Mitchell, Lamarque, and Widi’z Élégance to name just a few. There are also several prizes to be won, including a cruise on the Nile, on board the legendary Steam Ship Soudan!
Over the past few years, close to 4,000 guests have shown their support for the cause by attending this event. Inside a spectacular glass pavilion on the Grand Quay of the Port of Montreal, with exceptional views of the St. Lawrence River, the Bulles & Tapis Rouge Gala promises an unforgettable 10th edition.
