BOTA BOTA | Floating Spa Celebrates 10-Year Anniversary
For Bota Bota, spa-sur-eau — the vintage river ferry turned upscale “floating spa” anchored in the Old Port of Montreal — the year 2020 is a special occasion to celebrate its 10th anniversary as one of the city’s favorite wellness destinations.
Whether to enjoy the peace of mind of the silence imposed on their boat or the peaceful and friendly atmosphere reigning in their gardens in the shade of the majestic Silo #5; Montrealers and tourists from all over the world have been visiting the famous floating spa for 10 years now.
To mark this achievement — if all goes well — Geneviève Emond, “captain”, co-owner and managing director of Bota Bota, promises a year full of celebrations with programming designed to indulge all five senses. The 10th anniversary festivities begin in full force on Valentine’s Day, a feast of love representing the perfect opportunity to pamper the sense of touch, an undisputed source of pleasure and a vital means of expression between loved ones.
February 14, 15 and 16: Leap Together!
Valentine’s Day weekend offers three days of opportunity to share a few hours of happiness with a loved one thanks to the Leap Together package for two people, combining both the relaxing and invigorating virtues of the water circuit and body treatments. The package includes:
- 2 Layover water circuits
- 2 glasses of bubbly
- A 45 minutes duo Spa pedicure (exfoliation, chocolate mask, foot massage and application of a moisturizer)
To experience a moment of total serenity, it is possible to let yourself be carried away by the romantic and melodic atmosphere created by the Matsu Také Ensemble, composed of two Asian flutes, which will be present on the 3rd deck.
Since its opening on November 27th, 2010, Bota Bota enjoys a prime location to transport its passengers to a world of ultimate relaxation.
Its secret weapon? An enchanting setting with a breathtaking view of Old Montreal, which benefits from the natural rocking movement of the St. Lawrence River, barely perceptible, but essential to the extraordinary experience of the floating spa.
