Need to add a little spice to your typical Wednesday night? Join Ballets Jazz Montréal at ALORS ON DANSE, a fundraising cocktail at Le Cathcart in Place Ville Marie on January 25, starting at 6 PM.
This will be an eclectic crowd – a melting pot of the city’s artistic and business communities – in an evening that celebrates dance and new beginnings.
More than a typical networking event, the Alors On Danse evening will include live immersive performances by BJM’s 14 virtuoso dancers; as well as entertainment by VJ Videogirl and DJ Guillaume Michaud.
In the intimate, modern setting of the Le Cathcart, enter Alors On Danse, a world of unforgettable artistic experiences; all under a 40-meter-high glass ceiling – tall enough to raise a glass to the sky!
Jennifer Daoust a.k.a Videogirl brings a sense of visual rhythmic energy to any space. She creates video media, and this talent allowed her to work with industry giant, Moment Factory.
She collaborates with new artists, festivals, special events, as well as some of the world’s most recognized names in the music industry, including Steve Angello and the legendary electronic DJ Tiësto.
Accompanying those visuals and energy, DJ Guillaume Michaud will be spinning a hypnotic selection of music all night. Having begun his professional career with Ballets Jazz Montréal, Guillaume is a turntable tactician and professional dancer known for taking the energy of any event to the next level.
Fusing an incredible library with his charismatic and extravagant personality, his DJ sets entrance the audience and have been sought after by some of the city’s best bars, clubs and events; including Velvet, Flyjin, Hombar, Stereo Bar, Piknic Électronik, Igloofest, PY1, Burning Sun, and Nuit Blanche.
