With over 100 events, it promises to highlight the creativity, craftsmanship, and diversity of Montreal’s fashion scene.
Montreal Fashion Week: A Platform for Local Talent
Spearheaded by the Montreal Fashion Cluster (mmode), and presented by La Vie en Rose in collaboration with 1664, this year’s edition is set to be one of the most exciting yet. Designers, manufacturers, retailers, and fashion schools will come together to celebrate local fashion through a variety of events including fashion shows, workshops, shopping experiences, and more.
Exclusive Launch Event Montreal Fashion Week 2024 will kick off on September 16th with an elegant launch event at the Atrium des Grands Ballets, running from 5 PM to 9 PM. Guests are encouraged to dress their best as they mingle with industry professionals and fashion enthusiasts alike. The evening will feature a bar presented by 1664, aptly named “Drink Fashionably,” and will include special surprises, creating a sophisticated yet playful ambiance to set the tone for the week ahead.
Signature Events: A Tribute to Local Heritage
This year’s Signature Events will take place at some of Montreal’s most iconic locations, offering attendees a unique blend of culture, history, and fashion. On September 18th, the McCord Stewart Museum will host a thought-provoking event dedicated to the History of Our Clothing. On September 19th, Quebec-based sustainable swimwear brand Mennillo Designs will present its Fall/Winter 2024-2025 collection in a lavish, tropical-themed event. Taking place from 4 PM to 10 PM, the evening will feature a resort-inspired atmosphere complete with a bar, buffet, and live entertainment. With an emphasis on sustainable fashion, the event will combine elegance and fun, offering a chic escape for all attendees. Don’t forget to dress in tropical chic for this unique experience!

On September 21st, the week will culminate in a glamorous collective fashion show on Laurier West Avenue, one of Montreal’s trendiest streets. Hosted by SDC Laurier Ouest and orchestrated by Manik Fashion, the event will showcase an exciting mix of local designers and major brands. Held at 377 Laurier Ouest from 6 PM to 10 PM, this exclusive evening invites attendees to shop the latest collections, savor delicious bites and drinks, and dance to a live DJ set.
