Like previous editions, this year’s ball was both a networking cocktail, gourmet dinner, philanthropic fundraiser and dance party all rolled up into one bouquet of daffodil flowers. The Canadian Cancer Society collaborated with esteemed artists and survivors to create an unforgettable experience. Cirque Éloize and singer-songwriter Beyries, herself a breast cancer survivor, delivered performances that were both stirring and celebratory, encapsulating the evening’s theme of unity and survival.

The heart of the evening was the “Daffodil Moment.” This segment brought together cancer survivors, donors, volunteers, and researchers in a poignant demonstration of the collective effort in cancer fight. It was a vivid reminder that every person plays a crucial role in this battle, whether through scientific research, financial support, or personal endurance.

Off-stage, the Daffodil Ball was made possible by the meticulous efforts of Groupe Toria in production, RE Le Traiteur in catering, and the artistic touches of Charlotte Lefebvre in floral decoration. The decor and audiovisuals were expertly handled by Total Events and Celebrations Group, along with ABP Group, setting the scene for an evening of elegance and purpose.

One of the most significant impacts of the gala is its direct contribution to the ongoing fight against cancer in Quebec. Over the past year, more than 45,000 Quebecers have benefited from Canadian Cancer Society’s programs and support services. The society invested $7.2 million in the province, backing 43 cutting-edge research projects.
