The highly anticipated RELUXE VIP Evening is making a grand comeback for its 7th edition, on Thursday, April 27, at the WIP cultural space on Montreal’s St Laurent boulevard. This great event combines the thrill of shopping for designer pieces at fabulous prices with the satisfaction of supporting a noble cause. So this is your chance to indulge in a one-of-a-kind shopping experience you won’t want to miss!
Empowered by M.A.D Collectif, this philanthropic event supports the Le Chaînon, a Montreal foundation that helps vulnerable women since 1932; thanks to the profits from the sale of new or second-hand designer clothing and accessories, such as Chanel, Prada, Gucci, and creations from our talented Quebec designers. This is your opportunity to refresh your wardrobe with unique designer pieces while making a positive impact on the lives of women in need.
The 7th edition of RELUXE brings back the pre-pandemic format with an experiential pop-up event hosted by renowned ambassadors Geneviève Borne and Lolitta Dandoy. Alongside them, a team of skilled stylists with a keen eye for the latest trends will guide shoppers towards the best looks according to their style and desires. It’s not just about scoring great deals on designer items; it’s about transforming your lifestyle and making meaningful connections.
In the words of the three founders of RELUXE, Chantal Durivage, Isabelle Ethier and Ody Giroux: “Our mutual passion for fashion and women’s causes brought us together and allowed us to create a large support community around the Le Chaînon Foundation. Today, we are proud of what RELUXE offers and, above all, honored to invite our communities to participate with us in this unifying initiative that makes us see the world more positively!”
This year, RELUXE has added a useful new feature to increase the event’s impact even further. For the first time, the shopping experience will also be available on the Le Chaînon Store’s online shop (boutiquelechainon.org) until Sunday, May 7. This means that everyone, no matter where they are, can join in the shopping spree while actively contributing to the cause.
As event ambassador Lollita Dandoy is happy to share with us: “Supporting Le Chaînon through RELUXE means coming together as a community to help women in need and putting the heart back into fashion!” This sentiment is echoed by Geneviève Borne, the other event ambassador: “For me, RELUXE is not only the annual opportunity to offer beautiful pieces from my wardrobe and find designer pieces at low prices, but above all, to support the mission of an organization that is deeply close to my heart, Le Chaînon!”
The impact of RELUXE cannot be overstated. With a successful 7-year run, the event has raised thousands of dollars for Le Chaînon Foundation. In 2021 alone, the event raised a staggering $56,000! As Sylvie Bourbonnière, Executive Director of the Le Chaînon Foundation, puts it, “By making new or second-hand designer clothes of superior quality accessible, RELUXE contributes to the circular economy movement that should become one of our priorities as clients.”
Tickets for the 2023 edition of RELUXE are on sale on Eventbrite for less than $110 for the VIP Evening taking place on April 27. The festivities will include an early-bird shopping session, small fashion shows, cocktails, appetizers and networking. During the daytime of April 28 and 29, the RELUXE pop-up will be open to the general public and free. So, mark your calendars, fashionistas!
