On June 14, more than 130 guests attended When Business Gives You Wings 2022, a glamorous fundraising evening and private aviation conference in the jet set decor of a FLYGTA Airlines hangar at Mirabel.

To celebrate summer and the start of the Formula 1 Grand Prix week, guests were welcomed by Fincore and ETTIC into an eye-popping world of private jets, luxury cars, fashion shows and visual arts.

They were treated to an open bar of champagne, cocktails, sushi, filet mignon and delicious appetizers. All of it prepared by culinary masters, such as chef Kham Inthavong of Traiteur Barracuda.

This year the second edition of When Business Gives You Wings event was all in an effort to raise funds for Let’s Bond. Headed by Chris Harden and Camille Vigneault, this volunteer collective seeks to engage the public in conversations about mental health so we can break down the taboos surrounding it.

So it is in that spirit that Dre Banafcheh Hejazi was invited as guest speaker to address the growing mental health problem that is occurring as a result of the social consequences of the COVID pandemic.

With DJs Sandy Duperval and Uppercut at the turntables, the colorful evening was full of surprises, such as a diamond lottery by Création Paul H; an art exhibition by Galerie Le Bourget; a casino by Consilium Group; an aviator watches display by Breitling; a wine and scotch discovery tasting by Germain Lariviere; a Stradivarius violin performance by Juno award winner Alexandre Da Costa; an auction by Groupe Fournier; and the announcement of grand prize winners.

Organized by Fincore Consulting, FLYGTA Airlines and their partners, When Business Gives You Wings is an annual event that promotes private aviation and raises funds for a social cause. This year the fundraising beneficiary was Let’s Bond; a collective of 50 volunteers that organizes a variety of activities throughout the year to support the mental health cause through its partners, Fondation Jeunes en Tête, the Douglas Institute Foundation and UP House.
