The fried chicken sourdough sandwich from Casgrain BBQ
The pandemic project at the popular Vin Mon Lapin, has temporarily set up shop at Casgrain BBQ (6966 Saint Denis St). Its fried chicken specialty – 2 day tenderized in sourdough (lactose free, unlike the traditionally buttermilk version). Its sandwich version is a deliciously tender chicken sandwich, sprinkled with algae powder from Gaspésie, embellished with an algae mayo and fermented jalapeno sauce, between a sliced brioche bun. Addictive.
