Growing up in the 80’s you could wear your sunglasses at night thanks to Corey Hart. He gave us reasons to feel right doing so. Funnily enough, the song originates from another non hit called Wet, where he inserted the line I Wear My Sunglasses At Night, changed a few chord progressions over the melody spiriting a cooler cadence to a song recognized miles away. Corey Hart has always hit above his weight. When he entered the music world in 1983, the 20-year-old immediately tapped into the decade-defining a spirit and mood of the time with the synth-laden Sunglasses At Night. No surprise it racked up countless awards and nominations.
