For the 2015 edition, The YUL EAT food festival has grown at an exponential rate, now taking place at the Quai de l’Horloge at the Old Port of Montreal. For those of you attending this greedy feast, get set! You will leave bursting from many tastings, brunches prepared by star chefs, street food and gourmet dinners.
For Labour Day weekend, non-stop activities will let Montreal foodies mingle with farmers, food crafters and famous chefs. Aside from classes and conferences there will be a waiters’ race, live music, a pop-up cookbook store and more than 50 food trucks and restaurant stalls. For BandMark a series of free concerts are the icing on the cake of this great feast, featuring no less than Radio Radio day 3!
Director of concerts and events at Evenko, passionate restaurant-goer Dan Glick long dreamed of a food festival in Montreal.“We wanted to do something that brings everyone out. Not just foodies with refined tastes, but anyone who likes to eat will find something at YUL EAT,” he said.

The cooking classes cost between $45 and 95 (reservations a must). The chef’s brunches cost $40 and the dinners are $110 to $175. There’s also a Nespresso VIP lounge. A three-day pass to that costs $69.
Entry is free and the site is open from 11 AM to 11 PM, from Saturday September 5th to Monday 7th.
