Want trap? TROYBOI @ Club Soda Sunday
For all you BASSHEADS and lovers of EDM, boy do we have a treat for you!
Redefining genres in the world of EDM, TROYBOI makes his long-awaited return to Montreal this Sunday at the legendary Club Soda.
UK based progressive trap producer, Troyboi, infuses world music with carefully crafted trap beats bringing listeners a fresh take on conventional trap music. His careful attention to sound design blended with Asian and African inspired melodies is unlike anything out there today.
The past three years for 26-year-old Troy Henry have been a rollercoaster, collaborating with huge names such as Diplo, FLOSSTRADAMUS, and recently, Ice Cube, pushing the genre of trap music to its furthest reaches. He brings a fresh new sound to the world of EDM with every new release, keeping it melodic and smooth but heavy to the core. Coming from a multicultural background Troyboi infuses world music he heard from his
childhood with that classic high hat and slow booming trap beat.
After three years of single releases and constant touring Troyboi has finally released his first album!
A massive release of 20 songs “Left is Right” is his style, pure and simple, there isn’t anything like it. Check him out on Soundcloud https://soundcloud.com/troyboi .
Featuring hits from the past three years as well as new unreleased tracks it’s been a long time coming and we
here in Montreal are lucky enough to be a part of his North American Tour.
Troyboi hits club soda this Sunday and it’s one you won’t want to miss. At Best Kept MTL we keep our ears open for those rare occasions and this is one of them.
Trap music has developed a bad rep over the years due to its failure to progress and immersion into the mainstream. Troyboi is out there to prove that Trap is, in fact, a multifaceted Genre and not Just a Fad. And what better place to welcome the UK Boi than Club Soda a Staple in Montreal’s Arts and Music Scene.
Tickets are on sale for 22-26 $ regular and 27 – 31$ at the door.
Doors at 7pm This Sunday October 1st.
