What is the best show to see at Zoofest, one of Montreal’s most unique Summer festivals? Slightly Fat Features. With kitschy Cabaret style performances popping out of the woodwork, it’s no wonder this ensemble is getting a lot of buzz. Slightly Fat Features is a mini circus filled with slapstick humor, absurd acrobatics and playful pranks. What to expect? 7 clownish British dudes giving you an hour and a half of magical Comedy according to numerous reviews. Benny Hill crossed with Vintage magicians will entertain you with games, music, illusions & audience participation. Creative and absurd skits like speed painting really makes this Zoofest show truly unique, There is something for everyone at this family-friendly variety show. Go for the audeville classics like juggling on unicycles, stay to “Find the Lady”.
This troupe is made up of 7 comedians and 1 busy stage manager. They are: Gareth Jones the bendy one, Goronwy Thom the host one, Herbie Treehead the crazy one, Jon Hicks the silent one, Matt Barnard the noisy one, Richard Garaghty the odd one, Robert Lee the musical one, and the stage manager Alex Brook, the hard working one. (Who can resits going just to see Herbie!)
