Restaurant 425°F heats things up on Montreal’s North Shore

Looking for a great meal while enjoying spectacular interior design? Take a short road trip to Montreal’s North Shore in Saint-Thérèse in order to discover a brand new restaurant and pantry with worldwide influences, the 425°F.

“Guests can expect a selection of original foods, products and wines to take away or consume on site, in a pleasant atmosphere where one always feels at home,” said Frédéric Dufort, Associate Executive Chef at the 425°F. “The name of the restaurant also refers to the ideal cooking temperature to heat up vacuum-packaged food, offered at the pantry and then cooked at home.”

The “New American Cuisine” style menu was crafted by Dufort using traditional cooking techniques based on the use of quality local products. Guests will also have the chance to discover an exclusive selection of privately-owned wines with more than 2,000 bottles available in the iconic 425°F wine cellar.

With indoor and outdoor decks, VIP rooms, bar area and open area, the 425°F has a capacity of 400 people and nearly 10,000 square feet. Designed by none other than internationally recognized architectural designer Zébulon Perron, the 425°F concept reinvents the idea of discovering quality products. At the crossroads between restaurant, market and wine bar, the project offers its customers a complete experience in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

“The centerpiece is a spectacular two-story wine cellar around which different sub-spaces are articulated,” says Zébulon. The decor with refined brutalism plays the game of contrasts by juxtaposing raw materials with noble materials. We had a vision of an environment in the image of the modern kitchen, we can say that it is mission accomplished.”
