ON BOARD 2 | Cool Skateboard Art Expo @ Marc Gosselin Studio

After its eye-opening 1st edition last summer; ON BOARD is back to display the work of 80 artists on 80 skateboards at the Marc Gosselin Studio-Gallery on Thursday, August 8, 2019.
Curated by Bezo, Léa O’s and Marc Gosselin, the team behind ON BOARD found and recycled 80 used or broken skateboards; each of which was given to a different artist before the event so that he or she could freely realize their own creative project. Painting or collage transformed the material into a unique work of art.

Bezo‘s brainchild, ON BOARD was made possible thanks to his collaboration with Marc Gosselin, owner of the studio-gallery that bears his name. Therefore, the exhibit mixes emerging artists with professional artists from the Montreal art scene. The result is a series of eclectic works arranged in such a way as to enhance each one of them.

Some of the artists participating this year are Karine Demers | Sophie Wilkins | Josiane Lanthier | Tina Cartier | Eric Braün | Matthew Belval | Melsa Montagne | Emmanuel Laflamme | Pat Cantin | Frederick Ouellet | François Escalmel | Santerre | Monosourcil | Duval and many more.

With special guests DJ Horg and Fuser setting the mood, this must-see exhibit promises to blow you away by the diversity, creativity and vibrancy all produced on a common format. Therefore, ON BOARD is most definitely a “best-kept”!
