NYE 2019 | Groove to Sébastien Léger @ Fonderie Darling
It’s that time of year again! New Years Eve is upon us, and Montreal is offering a slew of fantastic parties throughout the city.
Those of celebrating in Montreal the night of December 31st don’t have a shortage of events to choose from. If you just happen to be seeking out some deep, melodic, or progressive house to ring in the New Year, then the search ends here.

From the team who brought Montreal the Apollo series, get ready for the ultimate progressive party at Fonderie Darling. Featuring some of your favorite locals and an international guest, Revolution: Divine is covering the full spectrum of progressive, melodic, and innovative sounds from dusk until dawn.
We couldn’t be more thrilled to see hometown talents Johnny Messina, Hicky & Kalo, Nic Falardeau, and more in the lineup. The icing on the cake? FrontRite has invited Sébastien Léger, one of All Day I Dream‘s top notch DJ’s/Producers, for a three hour set.
2018 has been a huge year for Sébastien, and we’re eager to find out what he has in store for us this NYE!
From Moscow to
His stellar performance at AIM Festival 2018 alongside Lee Burridge, Hoj, and Oona Dahl left the crowd in awe. When Guy J and Hernan dropped his unreleased track at their marathon, the impact was substantial. Montrealers are more than ready for this iconic ADID DJ to take the decks at Fonderie Darling. Sébastien’s sound is intricate, detailed, dynamic, and embodies so, so much depth. I’m almost certain that we’re in for some brand new, unreleased music.
As they always do, our local talents are sure to bring only their best music to the party. According to Instagram, it looks like Johnny Messina has something up his sleeve to bring on the new year. Hicky & Kalo along with Nic Falardeau have graced the decks of Stereo, Stereobar, Salon Daome, and other shows throughout the city. With these homegrown artists, you can expect only the best progressive grooves all night long.h
Featured in this edition of Revolution are local artists Davian, Marika Fellegi (live on violin), Döppel Mind, and Rodhjigger. Popularized by Montreal’s #1 terrasse party, Burning Sun, I’ve had the pleasure of witnessing them take the crowd from 0 to 100 and beyond. These artists define our local progressive sound, and you’ll have the chance to catch them in the couple of hours leading up to midnight!
Did you enjoy the visuals, lighting, and design at last year’s Vision NYE event? VJ BunBun with AVX Lab is lighting up Fonderie Darling to present the unique, complex, and out of this world visual experience we’ve all come to know and love. On top of this, Beat Spec and Void Acoustics are back to ensure only the most pristine, top-of-the-line sound from beginning to end.
Lest we forget: this first edition of Revolution: Divine ✞ NYE is sponsored by none other than RISE Kombucha. If you’re gonna party until the early hours of the morning, why not stay healthy and feel good about it? There will be RISE far and wide for those of us celebrating the new year at Fonderie Darling. Kombucha and house music – what could be better than that?
So, given all the info above, Fonderie Darling is the place to be on NYE for the best music, the best ambiance, the best crowd, and, surprise, the biggest disco ball! Thanks to our friends at FrontRite, Husa Sounds, and Floral Nights for putting on this masterpiece.
As for now, I’ll see you on the dance floor this New Year’s Eve weekend. If you are in a club-hopping kinda mood, groove to Felix Da Housecat @StereoBar.
