Montreal Oysterfest | Pearls, Girls, and…
Oysters. The word alone inspires a spectrum of responses. The 9th edition of Montreal Oysterfest returns to its roots with an old school, fun packed format its original fan base still reminisces about.
They are the perfect food with each having lived a journey. The small mollusks have always been surrounded by myths and magic. Casanova allegedly ate 50 oysters a day, naturally served by a dazzling beauty: It is the food of lovers, sucking the essence out of life.
“Our very first Montreal Oysterfest was celebrated in a parking lot in Old Montreal and we are hoping to recreate that same intimate feeling this year with all of our foodie loving and restaurateur friends.” Daniel Notkin, Founder of the festival.
