Mile Ex Music Fest | MTL music industry does it again
Here we are, Montreal. The end of summer is in our sightlines. The kiddies have gone back to school (thank goodness!). September is mere days away, and this year Labour Day weekend brings to us Montrealers thirsty for more summer the very first edition of Mile Ex End Fest!
Mishmash experiential collective is proud to present, the very first edition of Mile Ex End Music Fest
Last June, Mile Ex End Music Montreal unveiled an outstanding lineup for its first edition. With headliners like City and Colour, Patrick Watson, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Cat Power, Charlotte Cardin and Basia Bulat, the buzz was immediate!
In Montreal, we are spoiled. Especially so when it comes to Festival Season – which for us extends well past summer. In such a saturated city, it is always a very exciting moment to experience a new comer on the scene. Mile Ex End Festival has easily got to be the most intriguing and anticipated festival of the season. At least for us at Best Kept MTL. THIS is Montreal, and this is what we’re about!
The Mile Ex End is two days of amazing musical concerts where the majority of artists are promising Montrealers, as well as remarkable artists who bring talent here from around the world. To add to the collective happiness, street lorries, bars and cocktails, picnic areas and original activities for children are also on the program. PS – kids under 12 get in FREE!
You can find this independent, lively and festive celebration at the highly prized crossroads of Montrealers. Mile Ex End, Mile-Ex, Rosemont-La-Petite-Patrie and Little Italy. Specifically, Mile Ex End Festival will deploy its major programming under the Van Horne Viaduct, at the corner of Marmier and Henri-Julien streets.
A unique and mixed space where green spaces and Montreal’s iconic industrial architecture where one can see, without a doubt, the most beautiful sunsets in town.
The best part about this cool up-and-coming classic music festival is the price! The whole weekend will run you about $100, and day passes are starting at $50. Festival goers under 13-17 get a lower entry rate, and as mentioned kids under 12 are free! So this can be a cheap festival for the whole family!
