Montrealers can now enjoy a wide range of delicious matcha creations at Livia, a new matcha bar at 1468 Peel Street.

Livia serves its ceremonial grade matcha powder from Uji, Japan, in a wide variety of original creations; lattes, green teas, lemonades and more classic coffees.

This matcha bar also offers other healthy foods; including several delicious salads, such as papaya salad and a bowl of organic beets and quinoa. They also offer 3 toast options as well as Acai and Pitaya bowls.

Livia is dedicated to being a peaceful sanctuary; welcoming both matcha tasters for the first time and long-time health food lovers.

Matcha has long been associated with spiritual and physical well-being. It is a finely ground powder made from green tea leaves, which is rich in antioxidants, vitamins and fiber.

This superfood is also known to lower cholesterol and blood sugar levels. What’s more, matcha is a natural way to clean the mind as well as the body.

Whether for brunch, lunch or just for a snack, Livia is the perfect place to recalibrate and relax. The food and atmosphere of Livia are good for body, mind and soul.
