You’re in the heart of downtown Montreal? Looking for a place where you can chill in the middle of hustle and bustle of the big city? Well, Destination Centre-Ville and Îlot 84 have teamed up to create Le Petit Montréal. This cool little pop-up space has taken over Phillips Square from June 20 to August 31.

Le Petit Montréal offers tourists, citizens, and downtown workers an open oasis; comprised of big communal tables, string lights, design furniture and shade-filled relaxation spaces.

Perfect for shoppers stopping there to unwind, or for workers lunching outdoor to find, since you can bring your own food!

Every Thursday during the summer, the “Square’s Apéros” will feature: jazz or classical music, natural wine, as well as food from the neighbouring restaurants.

Finally, there will be programming in collaboration with the special events that already take place in this sector, including the presence of XP_MTL in one of the spaces of the site (chill zone, apéro jazz, games, etc.).

With its lively, friendly atmosphere, Le Petit Montréal aims to transform the Sainte-Catherine Street construction site into a refreshing experience.
