La Poutine Week is back for its 7th edition, from the 1st to 7th of February, in more than 35 participating restaurants across the city of Montreal. Poutine-lovers all over get a chance to discover these delicious creations and vote for their favorite ones on LaPoutineWeek.com
A flagship event of local delicacies, La Poutine Week is now celebrated all over the world, with hundreds of restaurants registered and a popular vote involving tens of thousands of fans. The biggest poutine festival is an opportunity to discover and rediscover poutine and its creative derivatives.
New this year: La Poutine Week partners with National Eating Disorders Awareness Week. In fact, for every poutine sold in a participating restaurant, $ 1 is given to Anorexia and Boulimia Québec (ANEB).
La Poutine Week is a friendly competition, which aims to stimulate creativity and innovation from the unavoidable poutine and to discover new restaurants and their chefs, of course. Who wins ? It is the public who decides and votes, directly on the site of the event, www.lapoutineweek.com.
The People’s Favorites last year were the “Seafood Poutine Teddy Roaster” from Le Gras Dur, “The Ultimate Poutine” from Les Rôtisseries Piri Piri, and “The Lucky Luke” from Le Smoking BBQ.
