Are you down for the 30 hour Coffin Challenge?
Six Flags are getting you prepared for Halloween with the 30-Hour Coffin Challenge at La Ronde in Montreal and other locations in the States. If you are feeling sloth-like, this just may be your gig. For those faint of heart or claustrophobic, one must take heed.
The 30 Hour coffin challenge has a bright side…
If you are willing to spend 30 hours in a coffin, La Ronde challenges the most daring people to take part in this contest and go to the dark side. This viral 30-Hour Coffin Challenge takes place this weekend, October 13 & 14. The six participants will lay in a wooden coffin for 30 hours. However, this is the bright side: the coffin dwellers will receive a 6-minute bathroom break each hour, plus limited cell phone usage, plus meals in their coffins and double plus unannounced visits from the Fright Fest freaks.
The Fright Fest offers a little treat of something sweet
At the end of the challenge there will be a draw among those who completed the 30 hours for the Grand prize of $300, two 2019 Gold Season Passes, two 2019 Dinning Season Pass (basic) two Fear Passes as well as the coffin!
The second prize of $300 and a 2019 Gold Season Pass will be awarded to remaining participants who will have also completed the challenge.
Who are the coffin dwellers?
There were six participants chosen from different regions of Quebec that were selected for coffin challenge: three men and three women between the ages of 21 and 56. Among the contestants, there is a student in Thanatology, a funeral home owner, a “vampire”, and fans of horror.
The 30 Coffin Challenge starts tomorrow!
Be there for Saturday, October 13 at 11:00 am for a Laying to Rest Ceremony. Then enjoy LaRonde and it’s rides until 11:59 PM.
Return Sunday for the closing of the challenge, October 14 at 5:00 pm with a Raising from the Dead Ceremony
So, where is the 30 hour coffin challenge?
Go to the entrance of La Ronde, the coffins will be set up in front with a pool of blood. The good news for Six Flags Park fans, is that season passes are up to 65% off ; and it’s valid for the rest of 2018 and 2019.
Expect to *%it your pants for this seasons Fright Fest. It’s offering many haunted attractions and scare zones such as, Vampire Lair, Demons, Zombie Camp, District 510 in the Dark, Evil Circus 3D and many more creepy things.
