F1 Kick-Off party | Re-live Studio 54 w/ Jellybean Benitez
Re-live the titanic clubbing years of the dreamy, magical 254 W. 54th St. where superstar DJs, celebrities drop-ins, and velvet ropes were staples of the Studio 54 experience F1 kick-off party.
Music artist Jellybean Benitez and hosts & co-DJ’s for the soirée Josh Silver (Mr. Montreal), Jojo Flores (music Thrilla from Manila), and DJ Cesar Czr (all hail Cesar) have choreographed what will be the Grand Prix’s most spectacular kick-off event. L’Atelier d’Argentine is about to be turned into Studio 54! Contributors Elsie Yu and her team from PLAY A PART costume design & performance artists, as well as Michael Jordan Sciortino & Patrick Sciortino from XO Productions sound & set design, will emulate the magic for just 1 night.
Studio 54’s key man and celebrated producer and impresario, Jellybean Benitez, was long the heart and soul of New York’s nightlife and audacious party scene. As the legendary producer behind Madonna, Whitney Houston, Sting, Billy Joel and Michael Jackson – to name but a few – Jellybean has played one of the most influential roles in the music scene of the 80’s and 90’s.
“I am beyond excited to once and for all be throwing this kick-ass kickoff party in the incredible city of Montreal”, says Jellybean. “We have an unbelievable lineup of international and local musical and DJ talent including Jojo Flores, Cesar, and a few surprise stars.”
