Dita Von Teese the Iconic Sex Symbol of our generation
The summer heat may be dying down in Montreal, but this weekend is set to sizzle with the first official tour from Dita Von Teese.
Though Dita Von Teese has been in Montreal before, this time around she brings The Art of the Teese – her own headline show at the newly renamed M Telus Theatre (better know as Metropolis – a Montreal institution – don’t get us started on the name change).
With her own tour production, Dita Von Teese has stepped up the game once again. With The Art of the Teese, Dita has brought some Burlesque heavy-weights. Dirty Martini, Ginger Valentine, and the show-stopping Vontourage will join her on stage at Metropolis (I just can’t call it Telus Theatre yet – long live the Metropolis name!).
Your host for the evening is the incomparable, Jonny McGovern – best known as a web/talk show personality hosting his web series Hey Qween. See his interview with Dita about the upcoming tour right below!
Unfortunately, Violet Chachki, winner of season 7 of Rupaul’sDrag Race will be unable to attend the Montreal show. Violet Chachki will be on hand this weekend in NYC for RuPaul’s Dragcon, stay tuned with Best Kept MTL for more on that as we will be in the house!
I, myself, have grown to become a confident woman from seeing Dita Von Teese perform for years.
Watching her use her body as a powerful weapon to knock out all the gawking audience with a shimmy of her hip, or wave of her hand is empowering. With perfect execution, Dita Von Teese will have everyone clinging on to every mesmerizing movement she makes.
A night that will be sure to have us begging for more, The Art of the Teese will be a tantalizing show of breasted proportions.
Tickets are still available with evenko for $72.50.
So come one, come all – and bear witness to the one of, if not the most, iconic sex symbols of our generation.
