Brunch Bad Boys of L’Avenue set up shop in Boucherville
The famous Montreal restaurant L’Avenue, known for its upmarket breakfasts and brunches, will have a location in Boucherville. The opening of the new establishment is scheduled for September 16, 2018 !
The first L’Avenue was born in the spring of 1994, on the Avenue Mont-Royal. After becoming a true Plateau institution, its owners — Johnny Di Tomasso and Milton Safos — opened a second location in 2017 in Montréal’s Saint-Henri neighbourhood. The two locations quickly became must-try restaurants recognized for their high-quality breakfasts, excellent service and friendly atmosphere.
The new establishment in Boucherville will feature a comfortable and open layout and a menu similar to that of its the other locations. It will also serve as a testing ground for possible new culinary hits. Locally-sourced food will always be prioritized and there will be many homemade recipes. For example, the cheeses, meats and cider will be from Quebec, while the legendary potatoes and jams will be made in the establishment’s kitchens. L’Avenue features a distinctive, funky atmosphere that characterizes each of its establishments and significantly contributes to the restaurants’ popularity.
In order to ensure the visual identity of the restaurant, L’Avenue Boucherville entrusted its walls to Benny Wilding, who works with Scaner, a well-known graffiti artist who created the murals of L’Avenue Mont-Royal and Saint-Henri. Check out this madness !
